Charles John Quarto
Charles John is a legendary poet, songwriter and spiritual teacher. He makes his home in Nashville where he works in collaboration with many of the finest songwriters and musicians in the country. Charles' songs have been recorded by Michael Martin Murphy, Jerry Jeff Walker, Waylon Jennings, Hal Ketchum, Pete Wasner, John Townsend, Steve Gillette & Cindy Mangsen and legions of others. Many songs have reached the charts including "Geronimo's Cadillac" and "Mama Knows the Highway."
Graham Nash produced Charles' first album for Atlantic Records. A second album, "Hobo Carousel," released by RCA was produced by Bill Halverson and features guest performances by John Hartford, Vince Gill, Richard Bennett, Al Cantrell, Mike Henderson, John Jarvis & Pete Wasner. The album consists of performances of Charles' poetry with creative musical accompaniment.
